Hello friends! Sorry to report it seems we are on a bit of a merry go round. Some kind of karmic loop trap. However there have been moments of fun with friends and each other. That is after we first express pure frustration and irritation. Haha! Then you kind of have to laugh. Humans are funny creatures, so worried about this tiny short life we are currently in. Michael says he is learning a lot. I believe I am too, but it is hard to define it, but that is OK. It can’t be a mental concept; it needs to be a real experience!

And so, as I alluded to in the last report, there was another UTI and Michael started another anti-biotic that the bacteria was not resistant too. He initially did get a fever but kept it around 100. No trips to the ER. Yay! The doctor said there was no more candida overgrowth which is good. He did spend a couple of days in his recliner, tired out. The next 3 days he was able to get up, spending some time outside gardening and hanging with Hazel.  Digestive issues set in, bringing a loss of appetite and weight loss. This last Monday he started getting UTI symptoms again and a fever. It remained low. We did talk to a Kaiser doctor and she had us get another urine test. We were able to get it done at urgent care last night rather than the ER. And yes, he still has an infection so we are trying a new antibiotic.

We did find a really nice urgent care place with lovely staff. Also, it is open until 11pm, so that is good.

Please pray for the wisdom to know how to renew the immune system! Thank you!

Michael lit a candle this morning for all those who are praying for him. He appreciates it.

Michael’s sister, Colleen, posted a new story for your entertainment.

Thanks for the update. Many challenges but great to hear about the resolve you both have. One of the greatest freedoms is the freedom to learn. I am praying for you both.
